House of Sea is a creative studio founded by Los Angeles-based artist and designer Kira von Heuer. Its work spans eco-art, curation, objects, and immersive experiences. All of it rooted in a single idea: that the most romantic things we do — writing love letters, gathering and ritual, personal style, making art — are also the most direct path back to nature, to ourselves, to each other.

Kira approaches that path through beauty and surrealism — not as aesthetic choices, but as a way of relating and living. A belief that wonder, strangeness, and reverence are the most intelligent (or inspired might be a better word) responses to the natural world.

The studio's first expression is Love Letters to the Ocean, a multi-form art practice carried out through large-scale coastal activations, love letter sets, and guided immersions. 

Her Nature is the curatorial arm — an ongoing exhibition series that gathers artists, objects and atmosphere into a single space and asks them to say something together.
