THE METHOD

1.

We begin with a two hour in-person consultation, with approximately one hour devoted to touring your space and learning its current uses and ideal functions. The second hour is dedicated to you. Thoughtful questions will be posed to illuminate your personality, tastes, movements, rituals, proclivities, and aversions.

Together, we will bring into focus the goals for you + your environment.

I will leave you with some exercises and questions to ponder in yourself and your space over the following week. Call upon quietude, patience, and intuition in your contemplations.

2.

One week later, we will meet in-person or on Zoom. You will update me on all that you have uncovered / discovered about how you operate in and around your room(s), and how your place helps or hinders you.

This conversation will provide me the necessary framework and details I need to progress into the design phase.

3.

Two weeks until our next appointment, which will be for one hour, ideally in-person. I will deliver 2-3 proposed schemes, depending on the complexity of your program.

You may decide to move forward with specific concepts from various schemes, plug-n-play style. Or, you may love a scheme in its entirety. We work dynamically and in collaboration; that’s the joy of the process.

4.

From here, I can continue on with you for an additional hourly fee.

Sourcing furnishings and coordinating their delivery to your home. I do not offer manual placement/labor services in-situ. I will, though, advise ideal placement of artworks on walls and surfaces.
